The season 1 finale ended on a twist that no one saw coming. After hanging out with a corpse, and almost being killed by it, Tom was tasked with having to eliminate the beast’s last known blood relative. Sweet old Ruth, his office manager. She confesses that she had an affair and a secret daughter. And that secret daughter… was dum dum da dum, Tom’s late wife. Aka the mother of his son! Making his son the real last living relative. Will Tom have to off his son to save Widow’s Bay? It’s unclear.
